Baba Slava

This digital design is inspired by Polish peasant harvest traditions and Południca, Lady Midday. A noonwraith dressed in white, Południca roams fields causing neckaches, heatstroke, and madness.

She appears as an old woman, a beautiful young woman, or a 12-year-old girl, and can also take the shape of a dust cloud.

The costume design is inspired by traditional Polish folk costumes sourced from Polski Haft Ludowy by Jadwiga Turska.
